Reben aquest nom pel Doctor Arnold Kegel, qui va desenvolupar aquests exercicis per les seves pacients a la d\u00e8cada de 1940 com a m\u00e8tode pel control de la incontin\u00e8ncia urin\u00e0ria de la dona, sobretot despr\u00e9s del part.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Hi ha casos en que els m\u00fasculs del s\u00f2l pelvi\u00e0 i les de l\u2019esf\u00ednter no s\u00f3n suficientment freq\u00fcents per evitar petites p\u00e8rdues durant l\u2019esfor\u00e7. Hi ha varies maneres de realitzar els exercicis de Kegel, per\u00f2 totes es basen en contraure i relaxar el m\u00fascul pubi\u00e0 (tamb\u00e9 conegut com m\u00fascul del s\u00f2l pelvi\u00e0) repetides vegades, amb l\u2019objectiu d\u2019incrementar la seva for\u00e7a i resist\u00e8ncia, i aix\u00ed prevenir o evitar la incontin\u00e8ncia urin\u00e0ria i altres problemes relacionats amb ell. Un dels exercicis consisteix en contraure el flux d\u2019orina durant sis segons, i la represa de la micci\u00f3 durant sis segons m\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Segons publica el New York Times(*) el passat dimarts, varis estudis confirmen que la pr\u00e0ctica d\u2019aquests exercicis pot ajudar a controlar la incontin\u00e8ncia urin\u00e0ria. A una publicaci\u00f3 de la revista Gerontology, on surt un estudi en el qual van ser tractades amb exercicis vaginals la meitat del grup de dones amb incontin\u00e8ncia d\u2019una resid\u00e8ncia d\u2019ancians, el resultat fou un augment de la for\u00e7a del s\u00f2l pelvi\u00e0 en aquelles dones que se\u2019ls havia practicat l\u2019estudi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">S\u00f3n molts els motius pels que es pot atrofiar els m\u00fasculs pelvians: falta d\u2019entrenament i \u00fas, embar\u00e0s i posterior part, edat, sobrep\u00e8s, infecci\u00f3 urin\u00e0ria cr\u00f2nica,&#8230; A trav\u00e9s dels exercicis de Kegel es podria notar una milloria en un termini breu de temps, sempre i quan aquests es practiquin adequadament i de forma regular.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">La nostra experi\u00e8ncia, tan en el post- part com a les etapes de climateri i menopausa reafirma la idea de que els exercicis de Kegel realitzats amb metodologia i const\u00e0ncia aporten importants millories en p\u00e8rdues d\u2019orina lleus.
